JOB SUMMARY
Under the general supervision of the Area Leader, Production Supervisor, and/or Plant Manager; the Machine Operator will be responsible for ensuring the equipment is operated correctly by utilizing monitors and gauges on the equipment. He/she will organize and lead the process and team on the line to ensure good quality product is produced at all times.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-Review the daily production schedule.
. j4 ?) P5 i+ y-Ensure proper and safe operation of the equipment.
-Regularly monitor that the product conforms to quality specifications.
5 ^4 v) f, M. L# f8 y# G7 G-Use SPC weight control system to check weights are deposited as per specification.
-Responsible for proper cleaning equipment.
% p/ w8 }9 |  F( D-Continuously monitor and adjust the process based on upstream and downstream production needs.
-Ensure that the equipment has been properly cleaned before starting production after CIP has been completed.
! e# n$ e1 m( q3 i2 ^- Regularly co-ordinate with other Machine Operators on the line.
# E9 F) H7 f: u; i$ d2 @. \-Ensuring quality of products on the line.
- J- C" n2 {' V8 G. i-Ensuring proper and accurate set up of the line(s).
/ R* k* K* |4 r0 A- ^5 |* k) M-Responsible for the crew being on time, understanding their tasks and ensuring that they are met under all circumstances.
7 l! `. y3 C. z1 |! g2 d- Responsible for Mixer responsibilities and following the Mixer processes when providing coverage.
& P# y  i9 @# I( n-Ensures production schedule is being followed at all times.
! M  S+ G: H$ x( i-Responsible to work in the role of general production worker when required.
-Responsible for documentation and administration reports.
-Responsible for maintaining work area is clean and free of hazards.
-Responsible for practicing and adhering to Food Safety, GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Health and Safety.
- Responsible for practicing and adhering to company's policies and best practices.
- Responsible for following company core values; Respect, Direct Communication & Quality.
-Responsible for other reasonable duties as assigned by the Area Leader/Supervisor and/or Plant Manager.
