The woman's name has not been released pending notification of next of kin. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Ontario Provincial Police said the southbound SUV struck the left median barrier, veered across several lanes, struck the right barrier, rolled onto its roof and stopped.
( M, M9 `( b. t' NCst. Graham Williamson of the OPP said the accident involved a single car, a 2001 Ford Escape SUV that was carrying six people. He confirmed one woman was pronounced dead at the scene. She was a passenger.
$ T& P; @( l3 RThe youngest passenger was transported to McMaster Children’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries while the other victims were taken to Hamilton General and Joseph Brant Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
