One extended essay question (you will be given a choice of questions) involving issues covered in the first, as well as second, term. Accordingly, it is the responsibility of the student to review first term material that relates to these issues—25% of the total mark.
  The following are a list of topics that could form the basis for exam questions. It is the student’s responsibility to consider how they may be formed as questions.
1． Comparing the ability of the ruling authorities in Tokugawa period and those in the Qing dynasty to maintain peace and order
2． Japan, Korea, and China’s response to imperialism in the 19th century
3． Japan and China’s involvement in the “China Incident”
4． Japan and China’s view of nature, science, and technology

PART 3
You will be asked to write 1 shorter essay involving issues that we covered in class that are specific to this term (you will be given a choice of questions)—15% of the total mark
  The following are a list of topics that could form the basis for exam questions. It is the student’s responsibility to consider how they may be formed as questions.
1． The wielders of actual political power during various periods in Japan’s history
2． 2. Methods by which the military government maintained political control during the Tokugawa period
3． Reasons for imperialism in late 19th century and early 20th century Japan
4． Factors that led to the increasingly radical nature of young Japanese militarists in the years leading up to the Pacific War
5． Factors leading to Japan’s bombing of Pearl Harbour
6． Japan’s initial success in the first year of the Pacific War.

PART 4
You will be asked to write 1 shorter essay involving issues that we covered in class that are specific to this term (you will be given a choice of questions)—15% of the total mark

不一定很有用的。因为老师教的很浅，但是知识面很广。被你那本书的评价局限就不好了。你今年的中国老师不知道怎么样。听说很......哈哈。你自求多福吧。。。

我买的是近现代史半本书都是讲的侵华战争
结果老头子从商殷讲起而且讲到春秋战国的时候居然提出了\"Dao Zi\"这个人
哪儿有这个什么道子啊?还是刀子?:confused:

我是上这个课的。。。我告诉大家，这个老师是1000000%的SB！！！无敌SB！！！一个part-time的多大Ph.D学生...说的英文中国人听不懂外国人也听不懂！！！现在这课去的人不够20个！！
如果不换老师建议下届不要选这个课
