Some friends and family have gotten the full impact of it in the last
2 s9 O( O+ i. H# Dfew hours, and I must say they are VERY patient.  By now, however,
they should be used to me and my toys.

I stopped at Office Depot today and bought a CanoScan LiDE 90
scanner.  For months now I\'ve been wanting a simple scanner for my
slides and photos. Every other place I went to, like Wal*Mart and
+ m& s$ o* E& L  wTarget, only sold the printer/copier/fax/scanner units.  I already own
all of that except for the scanner and wasn\'t about to spend hundreds
of dollars for more than I need.
& i: D- i6 h" ?; u# `& M# v  S
' b9 T+ J1 J, R, Q% M; K6 BThis scanner costing under $80 does a great job on my photos, even the
ones of me as a baby.  My slides of astronomical art by Morris Scott
% F  C! p$ |% H  @! M/ hDollens come out okay even after collecting dust for decades.  I
( t0 K4 u' F+ \# }. dshould be kept busy for days scanning all the photos I\'ve saved over
the years in an old suitcase.  Now if I could only figure out who all
those people in really old photos are!
