A female pedestrian has died in hospital after being struck by one of two cars that went airborne in a crash near Credit Valley Hospital this morning.
3 D( }$ D- d6 LPeel Regional Police have shut down the intersection of Erin Mills Pkwy. and Eglinton Ave. after the crash between a Honda Civic and minivan occurred around 11:20 a.m.
; y1 h/ K' r+ V( M) S+ h: OAlison Weeks, 42, was one of two people at the intersection waiting for the light to change. She was transported to St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto via air ambulance.
# ?+ {  Z& Q5 G' l: U$ S2 q# @2 LCst. Erin Cooper confirmed this afternoon that Weeks died in hospital.
9 o/ C, k/ B+ K6 W8 _( F8 ?/ UThe force's Major Collision Bureau is investigating the multi-vehicle crash.
